1. Who We Are
ThriendsPilot is a Threads analytics dashboard operated by Sundial Forge, LLC. We help creators and businesses understand their performance on Meta's Threads platform. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a user.
By using ThriendsPilot, you agree to the practices described here. ThriendsPilot uses the Meta Threads API and operates in compliance with Meta's Platform Terms.
2. What Data We Collect
When you connect your Threads account via OAuth, we collect and store the following:
Profile Information
- Username and profile picture
Content Data
- Post text, media type, timestamps, and permalinks
- Reply author usernames (for context on your conversations)
Engagement & Performance Metrics
- Per-post: views, likes, replies, reposts, quotes, and shares
- Account-level: follower count and profile views
Audience Demographics
- Aggregated breakdowns by gender, age, country, and city (as provided by the Threads API — not individual-level data)
Account Credentials
- Your Threads OAuth access token, encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM. We never store your password.
Payment Information
- If you subscribe to a Pro plan, payment details are handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store your card number or banking information.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use the data we collect to:
- Display historical trend charts and analytics dashboards
- Track cross-promotion between you and friends you add ("Thriends")
- Publish posts you schedule, at the times you choose
- Process subscription payments via Stripe
- Improve and maintain the ThriendsPilot service
We do not sell your data. We do not use your data to serve you third-party advertisements.
4. Third-Party Services We Use

Each third party operates under its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them.
5. Data Storage and Security
- All data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Railway.
- Your Threads access token is encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM.
- We use HTTPS for all data in transit.
- Access to your data is restricted to authorized ThriendsPilot systems and personnel.
We take reasonable precautions, but no system is 100% secure. If you believe your data has been compromised, contact us immediately at ray.sundialforge@gmail.com.
6. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service.
- If you deauthorize ThriendsPilot from your Threads settings, we stop collecting new data immediately.
- If you request full deletion (see Section 7), all identifiable data is permanently deleted.
- We may retain anonymized, aggregated statistics (e.g., cohort-level trends that cannot be linked to any individual) indefinitely for product improvement.
7. Your Rights and Data Deletion
You have the right to:
- Access the data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Delete your data at any time
To delete your data: Send an email to ray.sundialforge@gmail.com or use the deletion request flow within the app.
Meta Data Deletion Callback: ThriendsPilot supports Meta's required data deletion callback. When Meta notifies us of a deletion request from you, we permanently delete:
- Your profile information
- All stored posts and engagement metrics
- Audience demographics
- Your scheduled posts and cross-promotion ("Thriends") data
Only fully anonymized statistics that cannot be traced to you are retained.

8. Children's Privacy
ThriendsPilot is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Users must also meet the minimum age requirements set by Meta for Threads accounts.
9. Meta Platform Compliance
ThriendsPilot accesses your Threads data through the official Meta Threads API. We:
- Only request permissions necessary to provide the analytics service
- Do not use your data in ways that violate Meta's Platform Terms
- Do not transfer, sell, or use your Threads data for advertising purposes
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last Updated" date at the top. Continued use of ThriendsPilot after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
